  • Jodie Foster's speech at the Golden Globes was probably the most memorable part of the ceremony. The actress was quick to admit that it was not a "coming out speech."

After the moving speech, Ricky Martin took to Twitter to share his thoughts.

"Jodie Foster on your terms. It's your time! Not before, nor after. It's when it feels right!"

The Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award recipient captivated audiences as she finally touched on the topic of her sexuality while speaking about her former partner of 20 years, Cydney Bernard.

Jodie said she didn't want audiences to call the jaw-dropping Golden Globes speech her coming-out moment. She pointed out that she came out to her family and friends "about 1,000 years back in the Stone Age."
