  • They're back at it again. Longtime friends Gael García Bernal and Diego Luna have teamed up to produce a two-part short for their new production company.

The English-language short, "Drifting in Paradise," is themed around brotherhood and trust -- a concept very familiar to Gael and Diego, who have been friends since they were teenagers co-starring in the telenovela "El Abuelo Y Yo." The short follows three friends who reunite after falling out.

"Drifting" is produced by Gael and Diego's production company, Canana. They both joke about how they came up with the name for their company.

"Everything Gael proposed sounded stupid to me, everything I proposed sounded stupid to him," said Diego in an interview about the birth of their company.

So how did they finally decide on a name? They settled the matter as anyone in a bromance would -- with a good ol' game of foosball.

"He's not even good at that thing, you know? Something magic happened that day that he scored goals," said a bitter-sounding Diego.

Each actor directed half of the short: Diego's part debuted on Jan. 28 and Gael's will go live on Feb. 18. Both pieces can be viewed on
